Just as the title states, we have some new and really exciting things going on here at WiderImage.com. If you are reading this blog, no doubt you probably clicked on the blog link on our new homepage. We have gone through a few homepage designs in the past year but we feel this one is a keeper. With all the new products we rolled out we wanted the to all be accessible on our homepage and thats what we’ve done. We would also love to hear some feedback about it if you have any comments email us at support@widerimage.com.

Speaking of new products you’ll notice that we have three types of collages now. Our Standard Collage is the same as its always been, printed on thick high-gloss professional paper. Now you have two more collages to choose from. First our sticky collage which is printed on adhesive material that won’t damage your wall. You can re-position your sticky collage at any time and it will stick to any smooth surface without damage! This is great for kids rooms and dorm rooms! Second our new Black and White collage is a perfect way to show of your classy photos. You photos DO NOT need to be in Black and White to order this collage. We professional convert them to timeless black and white when we digitally hand make your collage.

Lastly, something we’ve been excited to bring all you for quite some time now is our Panoramic Poster service. This is such a unique service that is not offered ANYWHERE else currently. Now you can take a series of 2 to 8 sequential shots and we will professioally stitch them together for a 12″ x 36″ panoramic poster. This is an awesome idea to remember that awesome view from your vacation balcony or a unique way to remember the Tower of Piza! No matter what type of panoramic shot you take we’ll professionally stitch for a great new addition to your wall. Sure to be a hit at your next party!

New way to make a photo collage through Wider Image

Hello again!

Yes its been awhile since we’ve had a blog post, and we have had a bunch of emails asking why and there’s good reason. Starting today, customers on WiderImage.com will notice a NEW streamlined ordering process for collages. This has been worked on and tested for months now and its finally ready to be used.

This new process, which features all collage sizes and options on one page, is much more user friendly and direct to the consumer. We are also thrilled to be offering two NEW collage sizes. We have added the 16″ x 20″ and 18″ x 24″ sizes to our line-up. We have had some requests for these two popular frame sizes and we are happy to add them to our line-up. Additionally, there is a great size chart now that is simple, but helps customers choose which collage best fits their number of pictures. Collage sizing is the most popular support question we receive. All product information can now be found for all of our products in convenient tabs located on the bottom half of every product page.

Lastly, we are already getting questions as to why the new collage ordering page is called the “Standard Collage”. That is because the standard collage is printed on Premium Photo Glossy paper, which gives the best photographic quality for your collage. However, we will be rolling out a new type of collage for your wall coming soon so check back!

Businesses Showing Off Their Products with a Collage!

Been a little bit since my last post, Sorry! February was a busy month at Wider Image with lots of people taking advantage of our 10% off for Valentine’s special. March has been just as great, with some cool things to be added before month’s end. Right now we are working on changing the way you order your collage to make the process easier, and more user friendly.

Now for our newest highlight! Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus, located in Union Grove Alabama ordered their first collage several weeks ago. Like many they found us through a web search and really liked our products. However, unlike many of our customers who send us their vacation, event and personal photos Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus was interested in showing some else off. You may be able to tell from the company name, that they make emergency vehicles! Their collage contained about 114 different vehicle pictures. Just a short time after receiving their collage we received this message from Allison at Brindle Mountain Fire Apparatus:

“…..We wanted to let you know how thrilled we are with our collage!……“ - Allison

With that message they decided to order a second collage of their vehicles and additional prints of both! We want to thank them for their business! We also want to show off their collages. At WiderImage.com we are see pictures of just about anything, but this was a first and we thought a unique use of a photo collage! Yes, Valentine’s day is coming to a close and we want to wish everyone a very happy Valentine’s Day and also to thank everyone that took advantage of our 10% valentine’s day special. Collage Showcase

Welcome back. Thanks to all that continue to make our Valentine’s Day promotion a huge success! We still have a week before the big day so if you haven’t found something for your significant other HURRY time is running out to ensure that your collage will arrive on time. Don’t worry we do offer expedited shipping if you contact us directly if you start to run a little late.

There is one thing we know for sure, our customers LOVE their photos. Thats why we love our customers so much. Many of you have come back to us time again to share more and more of your pictures. Well, we want to start to highlight some of your pictures and the collages you have received with your pictures showcased. So let this be an invitation to everyone out there to send us a picture of your collage hanging wherever. On occasion, and depending on the response maybe even more than occasion we will showcase your collage on our blog.

To kick things off we have a very special customer to showcase. Mary Ann from Cary, IL contacted us towards the end of 2007 wanting to make a collage of all her pictures of her annual friends christmas breakfast. As always we were excited to have the opportunity to show Mary Ann how we could show off all her pictures. Well after, several days of emails back and forth, she decided she not only wanted a collage for her wall, but to give to all her friends for her annual breakfast. Mary Ann was such a joy to work with, and from what we hear the collage was a HUGE hit. So much so, that Mary Ann returned to us to have us make a collage for all her family members as Christmas Presents. We’ve attached some pictures below, they may be a little tiny but we know Mary Ann is pleased to show off her new addition to her wall, and so are WE!

After working with Mary Ann in the fall she recently contacted us with a custom project. She loved our work so much that she wanted us to do a custom banner for a charity she works with. So thats what we are working on now, a custom 42″ x 10 ft. collage on durable vinyl to be hung at the Mulliganeer’s 13th Annual St. Pat’s Fundraiser in Cary, IL.(http://www.mulliganeers.org/) This is a great cause and we are excited to be working on this very special project for them. We’ll be shipping out two of the large vinyl collages out in the next few weeks to hung at their event. (Check back, we’ll try to get a picture posted afterwards)
